After Daewoo's dissolution, the "Daewoo Global Management Research Association," established by former Daewoo members to promote Daewoo's global management spirit and support Korean youth in finding employment and starting businesses abroad, launched a program for young people to enter Vietnam in 2011.

Daewoo Networks is a network established by the Daewoo Global Management Research Association and former Daewoo members to support [healthy commercial activities that carry forward the spirit of Daewoo].

Founded on May 15, 2015, by Lee Jong-hyuk, the first CEO of the Daewoo Global Management Research Association, the company continues to operate to this day. Starting as a trading enterprise, we expanded into export support consulting and have assisted hundreds of Korean companies in entering Vietnam over the past 8 years.

Milestones:
2020: Foreign Business Consultant for KOTRA (Ho Chi Minh Trade Center) / Consulting for new domestic enterprises branching abroad.

Establishing an Export Support System in the Post-Corona Era

Post-COVID-19, exports from Korean companies to ASEAN are expected to face increasing challenges. In preparation for this, New ASEAN Vietnam is setting up SINASEAN, a co-branded initiative with Singapore-based Goodhill.

New ASEAN aims to become an "integrated ASEAN overseas marketing platform" and a one-stop ASEAN platform for domestic companies. This platform is designed to address the challenges posed by COVID-19, such as limited business trips and restricted access to local market information.

Through blogs, newsletters, business-oriented mobile platforms, seminars, buyer connections, and various other forms of support, we aim to create a robust channel for advancing business opportunities. We expect this initiative to become a significant support mechanism for growth and success.
